Top 10 Acne Home Remedies

Why would you spend hundreds of dollars on cosmetic products that promise to rid your skin of acne, pimples and blackheads, when they don’t even work? There are literally thousands of acne related products out there on the market, but none of them actually work the way they’re supposed to! Have Your Own Tomato Scrub

I'm sure most of you heard of the favorable and inexpensive facial scrub, St. Ives Apricot scrub which usually costs about less than $4.00 at most drugstores. The scrub is a great cleanser to rid dead skin cells to bring out newer skin. In search of other products to exfoliate my skin, I made a recent visit to Bath and Body Works and discovered a new facial scrub, Pure Simplicity Tomato Face Scrub. The 4oz. bottle is Not the cheapest scrub compared to St. Ives. It cost me $18.00. A huge comparison compared to St. Ives but semi-worth the exertion. The scrub is a gentle foaming scrub that helps tone, polish and smooth all skin types. I walked a way with my new purchase feeling almost positive that it was a good buy due to the benefits of tomatoes.

Have A Perfect Egg Facial Mask

Do you want to have healthy glowing skin without paying for expensive face products? Just go to your fridge and pull out an egg. This is particularly good for oily skin. Using this facial on oily skin, you'll noticed an immediate reduction in oils. The egg white draws the oils out, while the egg yolk moisturizes. You will want to do both parts of this one if you have oily skin. This also works very well for firming the skin.

Did You Stay in the Sun Too Long

By now, everyone’s heard or read about the unsafe effects that the sun or the tanning bed can have on your skin. Basically, a tanned complexion is now looked at as unhealthy skin. But, that doesn’t mean you still can’t get a little color. First off, take into consideration your complexion. If you’re pale, white, pasty, whatever…the sun is probably not your friend. If you tan easily (meaning you darken, not redden), then it’s okay to stay in the sun for no more than 20 minutes at a time. But what do you do when you overstay your welcome in the sun, and come out looking beet red? 1. Get out of the sun. If you see you’ve turned red or stayed in the sun for too long of a time, get inside. Start by applying cool Aloe Vera gel all over your body. It feels incredible on your skin. I keep mine in the fridge so that when I slather it on, it instantly cools my skin and feels refreshing.
